AWESOME....RBJ, you are the Master of the Beach!
However, I have sad news regarding the 70's beach chairs....
It was roughly 1980, I was taking Metal Shop in Jr high school. Our project was to make a sand cast for molding. We were making little cannons. The teacher asked us to bring in used aluminum for our project (can you see where this is going?)
So, per the teachers request, I grabbed my trusty magnet and headed out to the garage looking for non ferrous metals. There in the back were 4 dirty old low boy beach chairs. Being 12 or 13 I figured, they are piled in the back, dusty and dirty, they must not be needed any more. I proceeded to pull them out, cut all the webbing off and took them to school where I melted them down and made my cannon of which I got a B on I might add!
SOOOOO...Summer comes a rolling around and there's Dad out there loosing his mind because he is possitive he knew where those chairs were!
He said "Son, do you know where the beach chairs are?" and I said .......thinking for a moment......"NOPE, never seen them Dad"
It was years before I finally came clean on that one....Needless to say, he wasn't to thrilled to find out but eventually he forgave me....good thing I never told him I sold his dune buggy engine to the scrap guy when he came around!

HEY, a teenager needs beer money!
