This is an assumption made by you based on the idea they came with it, you are not clear on this and state yourself that " I don't remember anything about album" If these were included with the VZ-2000 they would say "not for sale" as the demo cassettes I have do, I also have a Sanyo system demo record which has the not for sale on it.baddboybill said:Scotty if each VZ2000 came with an Album then each retailer would have one from the demo unit they use. Plus the albums I just received were like brand new never used so it couldn't be used by retailer. Plus no where on album does it say "for retail use only" which would have been on it. Now I do remember looking at these brand new in 82 but of course I don't remember anything about album but I bet member Madbadger (Kev) who worked for Sharp would know for sure![]()
How do you know it was the VZ-2000 it came with ? there was also the 2500 & 1500,3000,3500 home systems plus the upright turntable. The VZ-2000 never was released under Optonica, to the best of my knowledge, so why would they bother with the branding?
I would say incorrect.baddboybill said:Well if you look at how many demonstration tapes that came with Boomboxes are not around as compared to units itself. Sanyo and JVC just to name a coupleThe music wasn't so great on these so maybe consumers tossed lots of them

Most people reused the cassettes to record what they wanted and this has been the case with about half of the demo cassettes I have found. People also disposed of entire cassette collections when they changed to CD, many people retained their record/vinyl collections to this day.
Assumption passed off as fact
