jimmy tooled thru the Pa. and the Ohio turnpikes --without incident
doing a peaceful 70 mph --somewhat back on schedule --
and none of his remaining 157 sausages were soggy

but then --
(and this coulda happened to any of us red blooded boys- not just jimmy )

he heard --coming up HARD --from the rear & looking like a JET !!!
the tremendous sound that ONLY can come from a big // hot american V8

Ira you got it all wrong ... I got shook down by the local sheriff in p.a. This is true but I was able to out run ohio state troopers in old crown Vic ... Just didn't have the power to keep up persuit so I have the sausage in the car and still cold ... But I don't have the isuzu... I have my very own v8 American muscle but I did make a pits top in Indiana for a car show here are the pics.......

to say the least -- jimmy got all involved

and when she dropped it down to 3rd at 80 mph --
and banged out a ' ready to rumble ' rev

...that ZR1 is an absolute beast!! Best Corvette ever built. I was considering it as my next car until I drove the Nissan GTR...It destroys the ZR1 in every performance aspect...still like the Vette though.

ok --so back to jimmys trip to the cali meet ::::::

we all know that indiana girls are sporty and generous --
the race began at 80 --at the bottom of a 2 mile hill

she gave him a 1/2 mile lead --
jimmy was ON IT !!!
with all 4 of his tiny pistons wacking away

by the top of this same hill --she had done 4 doughnuts
and the poor old izuzu was 1 mile behind :'-( :'-(

but --was the race OVER ??
NFW says jimmy --as he blew by her --while she waited on the hilltop

so he knew that rolling objects can often travel quickly on the long downhill runs
( even his 4 banger izuzu )

and he was smiling ear-to-ear as his speedo hit 143-146- 152 !!!!

but --as all old brooklyn boys - there was NO quit in him

true --his dreams of wiping that show-off bitshe in the ZR1 were dashed

but his much bigger dream --to drive his sausages to the cali meet -
were still alive

he found a promising location --and set up his
SAUSAGES for RECAPS trade

he got 3 Hankook brand recaps plus one of those skinny temporary tires -
--cost him 57 sausages --plus he ate 6 --and donated 14 to the local hobos

at this moment --the izuzu is back on the road

yup --and that little rest-stop feast turned out be jimmys best move
on the entire trip

the bad news was the cops kicked him off the big interstates
you cant run recaps at speed --

so poor jimmy was still 2000 miles from cali --
driving west at 25 mph on country roads that havnt even made anybodies
GPS - yet :'-(

then --like a godsend --his angel smells the sausages --
and pulls over

Its been a while since ive been online but ive been super busy with work and an unfortunate event where i had my car stolen :'-( :annoyed:
Unfortunately i wont be able to make it for this meet because the Dallas Cowboys are going to he in town and i have to paint the fiepd for them
But that gives us an excuse to have another meet that way we can all attend
