i think it will go for under ten. they are pretty cool cars i like them but they dont bring the big numbers.
expensive to fix too.
there used to be a guy who would come into work with one that was so nice it was like it was just bought.

Bill they can be expensive to fix!

They are fast but when it breaks down bye bye wallet.

Cool car! I drooled over this car back in the day.

When I worked in a gas station back in 84 I checked the guide the shops used to charge for repair and just the water pump was booked as an 8 hour job.

Well said Ira, the 928 and 911 were pretty different cars from a design point.

this was another poke at the mid range price point by porsche much better offering than the 924.
crazy v8 that i believe was the basis for a engine porsche campaigned in indy car racing in that era.

Yea, I like 911's, but this car has some serious substance, too. It's more of a touring sports car vs. a lap time car...

I'd love to have this '79. It looks to be in beautiful condition. Almost too bad to make a daily driver!

Funny I always thought this model looked like a squashed AMC Pacer (you know,the one that looked like a goldfish bowl wearing a tank top) with Lamborghini Miura headlight. Looks best in green.In fact when the headlights pop up that color would make it look like Kermit the Frog.

AMC PACER-X whoa..."get dowwwwn" as they used to say in the '70s Deemed the worst car ever by some.

I'm only being truthful on my feelings about its looks,but that's all subjective.In fact I'm sure the Porsche 928 is a wonderful car and IS quite collectible! First production Porsche with a radiator.A landmark design!
