No audio from right speaker

Hello team!,

Just received my M70 today and have discovered that I have an issue as titled....

Tested on radio and line in, the right speaker is very soft and the right side VU meter doesn't seem to move as much as the left.

The left speaker sounds fine though - anyone have a similar experience?

Typical problem with M70.
It could be an issue with the volume slider.
Do a complete switch cleaning including the long record bar with deoxit.
If you spray deoxit switch cleaner in the volume slider, it will wash away the grease for lubrication of the slider.
The right way is to professionally restore the volume slider.

Also sometimes the function switch needs cleaning

1 of mine did something similar to this. It somehow came right after putting headphones in a few times and giving a little wiggle.

I know it's going to sound barbaric, slap the right side of your BB and see if sound attempts to come out the right side. If so, crack it open and find the bad solder joint (fun, fun).
