Nice New Component Box!

To complement my Denon H-55 I've managed to procure a lovely H-70

Definitely some more higher end features than the H-55, but unfortunately the speakers need attention (probably need refoaming like my H-55) and the deck needs rebelting. I'm expecting some MAJOR performance sound-wise though, as the H-55 is still one of my top 5 sounding boxes.

She's quite a looker still!! Very happy to have her in the collection.

Seeing as you're from WA, I wonder if this is my old H-70?

I'm new to the forum and saw this. Does this unit have a 'loop mod' on the back of the amp? If so, it was the unit I bought new in Singapore and brought back to Perth with me in 1985.

The mod was to allow and external component graphic equalizer to be run with it.

Hope you enjoy th H-70 as much as I did.

Nice!!! Not a fan of Black or 3-piece type boxes but that 1 is a keeper for sure & DENON was known for producing some fine home audio too.
