What a terrific Blaster!!!
I would suggest to any who can find a decent one to Snag (GET IT)
Great Looks, terrific sound quality, built like a tank.
Just loaded with features and a great full logic Deck (one of the best on a boombox I have experienced.
Anyhow I am siked and am loving it....
Been a while since I have added anything to my collection.

As I said in the other thread, that has to be the nicest Big Ben there is....

Great video....there was one of these at the Nor Cal meet this past summer, but I didn't get much face time with it. I would have liked to have brought it into the house and crawled over it.

You know, in the modern age, with modern systems like the TDK and the like and with modern speakers, the mystery of how to get power and range from a speaker is all but gone. Science has given us just about all it ever will. but this design shows how far they had gotten to at this point. They stepped out of the box trying to figure out a way to give as much as possible.

They also packed it with every trick they had....what a great system! :thumbsup:

Congratulations, Frank. Another BigBen convert!

The BigBen has such glorious sound. Lots of people don't get past the bass from the sub but it also has the best highs of any boombox I've ever heard.

So true. The tweeters on this box can really sing.
Which in turn gives this box a great balance and presence

wow looks great .....I spent alot of time restoring that box to It's original glory...that deck was d.o.a. when i first got it :sad: :sad: my tech literly put over 20hrs to get that deck restored...the rest was beautiful to start ...I'm so happy that you love it as much as i do....love ya brother :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

It's been a long while since my last vintage boombox acquisition but this just makes up for that big time.

Wow, what a lovely box to get when you haven't got one in a while. :yes: Those Bigbens certainly are big - looks like a TV set from the side!! I've only heard one of these and was very impressed with the sound and build quality. :drool:
