Belts came... new power ICs installed, boombox reassembled. Forgot to put the push buttons from the sub-chassis back on, and the counter belt.
The bad:
Deck 2 hums when the buttons are touched, and crackles. I cleaned all the other switches at my shop, haven't got any spray here. Sounds good once it works though.
More hiss than you'd expect from the deck preamps.
I have to take it apart again
The good:
It is loud. It sounds good. Deck 1 is quite good quality, I was nervous that it'd sound dull and warble, but it sounds bright and the speed is stable.
