Portable audio with internal memory seems like an obvious step missed by most makers. They look nice but $500 is a bit unreasonable for 4 gigs and only 40W. Doesn't offer enough to replace your old school box with aux in + your iPod or iPhone. Now if you could make video phone calls with your Steez... :hmmm: Nice try though.

Funny how the world goes, eh?
4-5 years ago, many of us were often discussing (on s2g back then) what a shame it was that manufacturers didn't make proper boomers anymore - y'know, ones that actually boomed.
We had ideas about what we'd like to see made... there were great, open-ended discussions & some cracking CGI artwork from some memebers, like the JVC RC-M100 retro (who did those?).

...& now we have the iPhone Kaboom, Lasonic i931x, TDK boomers, Pioneer Steez, MTX iThunder, Altec Lansing IMT800, the list goes on.
Folks, we've not had it so good in ages :-)

bit off topic Vlad, but I've just checked out your website & found the best ever pic of a Hitachi 3D...

Waiting for videos to demonstrate how sound quality is... :-)
Regarding the aspect of the three models, some people like and some others others do not but for me, what really matters is that some manufacturers still make equipment to bring the music an people together in the streets, and specially, keep street dance and street culture IN THE STREETS. :breakdance:

Like the The name of game video, when Nosey come with your car and plays your Master Blaster for a B-Boy session (not your Car Stereo for that).

Cheers!

40mm speakers on the Solo and Duo? Those are like 2 inch speakers! or a bit less actually! :nonono: That's like a standard headphone speaker, for cryin' out loud!! Oh well, they'll probably sound good to someone who only listens to music on their phone's internal speaker.

Come on Pioneer, for 300+ you can certainly put at least 3.5 or 4 inch speakers in there, you have the space and that 2.5 watt/4 ohm load will go much further! :dunce:

I have bought the Steez(the biggest version in red) last weekend...the sound is AMAZING!! It beats every box i have(including the jvc boomblasters). Its LOUD..no its VERY VERY LOUD and sounds crystal clear with a fantastic stereo-image. The only minor thing is that it has no radio so you need to hook up your cellphone or ipod to get FM..Tomorrow i will take a look at the TDK 3 system. Pics will follow Brothers!

Product looks nice , as are the features.
But for the price??? One word Greedy.
Aspiring dancers willing to fork out that kind
of dough for a box should grab a TDK.

hate to bring it up but why not get an old shell of a old boomer and add the new age stuff in to it.
I know it is hard work but it can be done heck I did it before and it was ok but i also did not have any idea at the time how bigger watts would effect the main board but i am sheer with better nohow I could have made it work for a long time like adding a amp to it to prevent a magic smoke coming out of it but yeah it was cool while it lasted. :-D

I know you guys have the know how to make something like this work.

old jc penny boombox I picked up for $3.00 and a Ihome thing for $20.00
