Ooh, im very excited about this. This is one film i might actually go to the cinema to see as i loved the first two so much (the 3rd film was ok but not as good as 1 and 2)
From the clip the film looks like a remake of MM2 Road Warrior rather than a new story? The Ford Falcon Interceptor must, must, must feature heavily in the film. Mad Max without the Interceptor is like The Dukes of Hazzard without the General Lee.
Also glad its got the same director, that should ensure it keeps the same "feel" of the other films.

Thanks for the link Chris :-)

The Falcon Interceptor IS the the MOVIE (at least in the original). I love that car! In the top 5 of all time TV/Movie cars!

Not in any specific order...

General Lee
Peter-built in Duel
Herbie
Falcon Interceptor
Bandit

This list could go on for ever....

If you wanted to see more of the Ford Falcon hardtop, then a remake of the first movie would have been better.

At least they kept the title 'Mad Max' for US viewers this time around.

The original movie will always be best for me though - no CGI, no special effects. That Kawasaki road bike you see ridden right off the clock - no effects, that bike really was been ridden at almost 200 kph on public roads - all real!!

OH GZ! You need to get a copy and sit down and bring yourself up to speed, well worth your time.

Remember, Mad max (1979, AU) was before Terminator (1984, US) and Sons of Steel (1988, AU). All movies predicting a post apocalyptic future that we seem to still be marching towards.

Same here..
Only thing I know about is the 2pac/Dr. Dre video spoof for "California Love"...

Hmm, this looks like a remake of Road Warrior. :-/ I don't know if they can top the Gyro Captain, Humungus, and the dude of dudes, Vernon Wells.
