Sharp and Pioneer also has some nice ones. I guess this will be the new trend in boombox design.

At the risk of embarrasing myself, I just picked up an original RV-B90GY. I've been looking for one in halfway decent shape at a price I like for a couple of years now - Call it "youth reclamation."
I remember buying my original one in '98 at Lechmere and thought the design was totally bad-a$$. When I brought it home, my Mom was pi$$ed. Mission accomplished!

Anyhoo, to each his own...

I'll post pics in Collections later this week, when I finish it up. Sorry.

dont worry got a kaboom myself, got it at the fleamarket for cheap, but somehow the finish of the outer rings and the big two knobs turned to goo :sick:

All the B90's did that. I think JVC used a low-grade rubber coating that broke down like the old belts. I stripped the rubber coating with paint thinner and I'm painting the parts in flat black tonight.
