1986 when i got my first new Stereoboombox (SOUNDMASTER) , my grandma wanted a boombox too. ;-)
She wanted to record some music from the radio.
It should be a very simple unit, because her technical understanding was not so good.

So we bought her an MUSIKLAND mono ( 500schilling > ~35euro ).
I wrote her an simple manual additional to the original, gave her some tapes and told her how to use it.

But she used only the radiopart a few times, because tapeplaying was too difficoult for her. :sadno:
So the box get stored in boxing and forgotten... :'-(

When she came to the pensionists home 2 years ago, it nearly get dumped when cleaning her residence.
But i saved it in a corner of our cellar and forgot it too.... :-/

But last weekend, when cleaning up i found it again.
And so it see the sunlight again, after more than 20 years storage! :w00t:

The box is´nt a real keeper. It´s very cheap made.
But the personal memories counts here. :-)

Nice mono Roman. Are those the hand written instructions you made for your grandmother?
It may not be the best, but that box is a keeper.

Yes it is! :-)

The box is very simple. Only 2 switches (AM/FM , Tape/Radio), Volume and the Tapebuttons.
I think not many of such tiny boxes survived. At least not in this condition...
