new box coming today. box of a different sort

well a few weeks back a guy pulled up out front and started talking to us about the old impala four door we call the chalupa here.
he asked if he could buy it from us. my answer was flat out no. i told him that it just wouldnt be worth it for me to sell it beacause i would need to get something in the same kind of shape as it or it just was not worth my while to do it.
he told me he needs the car for a movie to turn it into a cop car for the film and that sounded pretty good to me.
tell you what i told him find me another car in better shape and get back to me .
so to make a long story short today i get my 89 caprice brougham with 97000 original kilometers on it.
i am pretty excited about the deal. i do have to pay the dude a couple hundred bucks but honestly its a wicked deal for me.
i will get some pictures of the box up when i get time.

i bailed guys. the car the guy brought by was just nfg. it ran too hot and well it wasnt in as good shape as my old green barge.
the 1979 impala i have has a few things not so good about it. the headliner sags its got some rust spots and a few dentys but.....
its all original and well i know what i got with it. it runs fantastic has no computer crap and well it i really like my old impala box.
plus the dudes personality changed a lot during the test drive he was surprised when i flat out shut him down telling him that my car is in way better shape. i think he just didnt get it but hey i am damn happy that my old green monster is sticking around in my driveway.
i should post a piccie of it so you guys can see the old jalopy.
its not mint but it is nice.

ira this summer was crazy hot in fact it was so hot that the water at the beach was the same temperature as the water at the beach in mexico.
hahaha.
now i have to go out to the igloo to feed the husky dogs and make sure the molsons are cold eh.

lol yep there is a lot of room in da trunk boss.
this car cost me five hundred bucks six years ago. i got it with sixty thousand miles on it really that was the true mileage on that puppy.
i done a lot of things to it. carb exhaust brakes the typical things on it.
it needs a bit of stuff here and there but.... its all there and i know what i got.
i am a fanatic about maintaining the thing too. i mean every three thousand miles or every three months wecf it goes in for the basics.
i am cheap with my cars like my boomboxes.
