New boombox display/storage

One wall in my new living room was empty.
This cannot be!
Found 2 parts of the furniture, fitting to the other, stored in the cellar.
The mittle part i got on flea.
Also some wood from other furniture, but same color.

A mate in our company started the big saw, and cutted some parts for me.
So let´s start.
Here the 3 piecer

The top panels are rampaged.
So i got a metal style foil to cover it

Got some hooks and mount it

Screwed the left part together and mount the shelf on it

Left side works

Screw the right side and mount the shelf

Stands!
The backside panel ist in work.
Will do some graffiti style.

Not much space, but the boxes will be rotated.
First test

Ok, space for 6 stereos.
And middle part for monos and tapes
Also some storage space in the closed parts

But i´m afraid i will not see much from the graffiti.

But the most work was not the shelf, it was the walls.
They needed much restauration and paintwork.
I took all boxes in other rooms and covered them.
Neverless nearly all got dusty and needed a good clean...

Ok, now it´s nearly finished.
Got 2 different borderlines for wallpapers.
But it comes not on the wall.
It comes on a wooden plate

made 2 of them

still mounted

The only thing i need, is a power connection.
To play them in the storage.

I like it better without the background. It seems too busy. But if you like it, keep it.

Thought the same
But when the boxes in it, you can see nearly nothing from it.
So no problem.
And the plates are not fix mounted.
So if i find a better background one day, i can turn them around.
The mono part stays clean.
