Well, after 9 years of collecting, the day I've been waiting for has finally arrived! I now have a JVC RC-M90! :thumbsup:

I spent half of yesterday and all of today fixing up this bad boy. It had a few broken buttons, was quite dirty up-close, had a missing antenna, and had scratchy controls - not now. It's been hard work, but well worth it. It sounds very nice indeed! The bass response on FM radio is very impressive, as is the clarity and overall sound. :yes: It came with the instruction book too! :-D

I still haven't heard one of these in person yet, but its definitely on my wish list, looks really good! Congratulations on your long awaited King!

For an open backed one piece Boombox, they do sound pretty good. The M90 isn't too big either so it's good to carry. Those 8s do also tend to be quite efficient and produce good mid bass.

F'yeah!!!! that unit looks pretty dang clean SUUNN!! You scored BIG! Looks as if it's seen a lot of sun but in very good shape overall & the tuner & tweeter trims look amazingly good, so do the chrome rings....
