Here I thought you got s 65' Brookwood wagon with the 396 Turbo-Jet and 3rd.seat!!:0
I had the ultra rare 76' Caprice Estate 9 passenger wagon.Had the rear Window that disappeared into the roof and the tailgate that dissappeared into the frame! I had the 400 4 barrel with all options with fuel economy gauge and 8-track factory!!
Loved that trip to Glacier and Yellowstone, couldn't keep it under 80!! :(

Ira,

The RC market is the most INSANE thing to watch grow over my lifetime. When I was a kid I dreamt that my big yellow Tonka truck could actually drive around the yard. Now guys have modded the old 1970's Big Yellow Tonka trucks with steering, motor, big air filled tires that look like real tires under load. I have seen hydraulic bed dump with power tailgates! If you look on youtube, they have done it all.

The multi channel handsets and receivers are mind blowing. The micro servos that steer the vehicles and operate other functions are TINY. 4x4's with locking and unlocking differentials and transfer cases. The truck below has 4 locking diff's!

I follow this guy because he builds the most impressive stuff I have seen.

But BY FAR AND AWAY this guy tops it all!

chris !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANKS fpr all the research and posting all these -
they are just incredible " and beyond " :jawdrop: :jawdrop:
--------------------------

on the most low tech side -
here is my latest monster truck --could not be any more simple -
just a 12V ' drill drive ' with big rubber bands

the most grade achieved so far is a whoppin 60 degrees --
and this one has so much traction and power --it can push & PULL heavy chairs
around the shop floor --it even moves a huge rubbermaid 50 gallon trash can ( 1/2 full )

Is this some kind of beer delivery vehicle? Or better yet... is this some kind of all-terrain vehicle that will be used for covert upskirt pics.

The motor in most drills is extremely similar to a basic rc motor . I seem to think the size is 550. Usually with most trucks I have performance increases with more volts . Limits of course but within reason. A 7.4 volt car is slower than same car with 14 volts
