National RX-F80 (Detachable Walkman) Mini

Dubbed the Kangaroo??? I picked this guy up recently. Quite a nice little unit with separate bass and treble controls.
Radio works attached and detached on the walkman itself. The cassette however needs attention as the story goes. Haven't opened it up yet. Are these walkmans hard to service??

Love the detachable Walkman mini's. That is a very hard to find especially in such clean condition unit. Lot of features too for small bbx. How is the sound and volume considering its size? Believe they came in Black and Silver also but love that white. Doesn't get any better for you Aussie's than a Kangaroo labeled BBX !!

This era of walkman's are deafeningly loud! Before the government came in a said "You'll put your ears out with that thing".

This little National is super clean....great find....I have seen a few in thrift stores, less the walkman part

And No, that does not make it an iPod dock
