I got this box from a member of this board, well I think he is at least. I had my eye on one of these and/or the RX-7000 for years as I loved the classy look of the wood side panels. The box does not disappoint in sound either. I am not big on the 'boom boom' bass as I am mainly a jazz or classical listener and the RX-7200 has very good fidelity and definition without being overly bassy.

The little remark in the title about being a 'JVC Killer" was added solely to bring hits to the video. I find unless a video has a nearly nude woman involved it languishes in obscurity in the Youtube universe. Besides, people like a bit of controversy and I am not above starting some if I can bring some hits to my video

Let me know what you think of it. I am fairly new to this site as I have posted off and on over the years at the 'other' site.

Beethoven's 5th - a beautiful symphony and an absolute pleasure to the ear.

Beautiful radio, thanks for the vid. I bought my National from toshik as well, (thanks again Tony) and it is sure one crisp sounding machine. Not heavy on bass, but I have others for that. This one has that clear sound and is perfect for jazzy tunes. Its a great one to own. Congratulations on your purchase, and welcome...

Even the RX5500 is very good with jazz.
Panasonic always focused on the older or more introverted radio buyer.

Yeah, I got mine from Tony via Ebay. He was great and even helped out post-sale. And he packed it so well that a nuclear warhead would had been safe in there!
