I don't even know what that means. AM/FM only? It sounds beautiful. My M90 & This are My two sweethearts.

You are correct! The other one like mine got FM, MW, SW1 & SW2. Basically we need only FM and MW like yours, the other bands don't make much sense here in US.

Did you try the Ambience feature? You will be pleasantly surprized!

Bill, None of the high end Pannies got dual FM antennas. That is what I remember.

I believe the 7000 and 7200 with wood grain sides do. Can't remember if 4350 does.

This sounds amazing with the Ambience I love it. I have no idea why the rear panel has that recessed portion. Information Society's 'Pure Energy' song sounds hecka good on it right now- with that thumping bass.

I just realized that yesterday myself! In the upside down boombox thread, that pic shows dual antennas on the smaller ones, than single antenna on this one...

that recessed portion of the 5350 is to clamp the 2 halves tightly together around the cassette mech .this is to add stability to the unit . if you remove the front face of the 5350 you will see that the cassette mech is mounted to the back case if not for that recess they would have to had mounted the cassette mech on standoffs or post which would be very flimsy .

Main PC board of RX5350 is a large one extending all the way to either side of the box.
The board is very susceptible to cracking if the unit gets slight shock from mishandling. One has to be very careful with this unit. This main board pretty much has got all the electronics.
