I Just found out this yesterday; a RF-5410 featured in a 1985 movie in my native language, Malayalam (the language of Kerala state in India)!

Wow.
That RX-5230 is the best sounding stereo among all in its family. It is the only box with separate Bass & Treble controls in the RX-5100 family, I think.
And I believe, these Champaign colored boxes branded as National Panasonic were sold in the Middle East market.
We were reluctant to accept anything branded only as National or Panasonic in those days. Only 'National Panasonic' brand was trustworthy.

I have one! It is pretty powerful also.
I still remember the label on the cassette door saying 18Watts.
