Restored, typical flywheel to idler wheel to take up drive spacer melted, rebuilt with vinyl tubing, new belts, and LEDs installed ,disabled beat/cut switch and tapped power to switch LEDs on and off via beat/cut. No external or noticeable mods. Basically a 9696, or a Searcher 508, Japan version .

I’ve been digging into yahoo auctions in pursuit of my first boombox until I amassed a huge collection from a seller at an extremely low price.
