I got one of those....just letting you know, they are small, with 3.25 inch speakers. The sound is so so. They do get kind of loud, but no bass at all.

For throwing in the back of the car or a rough camping trip, it would be fine, but it's no blaster.

It has the build quality of an Emerson

I'm going to tell you why I still have this radio....

First, I have used it around the BBQ, it's small, the sound isn't HORRID, but of course I have 300 lbs of other radio's that sound better!

But mostly, I plug it into my living room light timer when I am away. If I have to wear out an amp, let it be the Emerson!

Also, I think it's has a cool look with the stacked decks and believe it or not, I have thought of buying others because they are cheap and would make a cool stack of three, but the problem is, the upper deck keys are on top, so stacking is an issue.

A positive is, it does have a line in!

All that said, I don't plan on selling it, or my other Emerson, just one of the group!

Thanks for the input guys! A co-worker of mine found that picture online, and it was the boombox he had as a kid. He was wanting to know the make/ model of it, as he couldn't remember. I knew you guys would know right away!
