It is new old stock. It is my first "new" boombox in 22 years. I'm very happy with it

Wow, NIB! I've only seen one or two photos on the net of that version with the TPS 3 track selection, 2 band tuner, mixing knob Rec Mute lever (instead of press-release button) and a tone knob.

So how does a NIB 5150 sound after all these years of inactivity?..... I'm guessing it sounds great and is fully operational being a Panny!
