Lately I've been found browsing Gumtree listings, and in the last month I scored myself a Pioneer SK-550 and just this week a Telefunken CR-100. I've already posted about the Pioneer before but there was some exclamation and commotion concering the lack of picture support... so here you are... my very filthy and in need of serious love and tenderness

Pioneer SK-550 (needs parts, are you there for me Rick?) :-)

Yep, they are dirty, but dirt washed off....I'm sure with some tender HAMMERING that speaker grill can be worked out too....

Nice scores!

Yeah! Top work, Warren!

I'm on holiday starting next week and will dig up my SK-550 and we'll get yours all sorted.

Rock On.

I was thinking maybe if I turned it up to full volume the dents would punch themselves out! :-D

Telefunken cleaned up. It took a long time, and the cassette still doesn't work as the belt is slack and I had none the right size. I decided to blacken the speaker grilles as I think it looks nicer on this model. Usually I like silver on silver but this one needed a change. The whole thing was soooooo dirty. The handle is still sagged a little but a heat gun will rectify this. I can't believe how good the bass is on this unit, for its size. It's so tight and punchy.

That box is one of my favorites, the tuner light is so bright, it actually gets hot
Love the snappy tape keys too
