My two Crown 850 or figure out the differences !

Last Saturday I found my second Crown 850 on a flea market in Wolfsburg

So I cleaned and repaired both of them and look at the result and find out the differences ! ( there are more then 10 differences except the areals and dents / using marks

the 850 on the right has more top controls and more input options-

are they the identical amps and speakers and sound quality ?

they have different finishes on the knobs , they have different antennas.

1 has more radio bands than the other

where the power button is there are 3 rocker switches on one and 2 on the other

1 has din inputs the other does not

the input and output jacks are different .

that's all i can see ,now i miss my 850 these are sweet sounding blaster.

The round knobs are different. Guess what knobs are made of massive aluminium... ( the others are only plastic knobs)

The speakers inside are identical, made by Matsushita.
The amps are identical
The box with less switches has got a little bit more bass

Wow!! 2 beautiful Crowns I just finally got my 1st Crown 950 and I think its totally kick A$$

The 850F does not have an AFC switch........So the radio tuner does not receive stations as well as the 850L does.

Other outer differences: The 850L has got a Full Auto Stop System, the 850F only an Auto Stop System.

Inside differences: the 850L is more solid build : extra reincorced metal supports for the 2 handles and the right socket line

I just picked up my first crown - an 850F and while it needs a clean - love the sound it puts out!

it has the plastic volume knob on top but the silver coating is starting to peel off (?) - if anybody has a spare or parts i'd be keen to hear about it.
I see both yours has a silver sleeve on the orange power button too - my power is stuck down but seems to not have this - odd.
