Hi guys, since I took some pictures of my little collection for a friend, just figured I'd share em here too 😎.
GE 3-5254A, waiting to be painted black and reassembled (had a poll on here or S2G last yearish)
Emerson XLC-555, everything works and in great condition, just needs the metal plate at the bottom re labeled
Hitachi TRK-8190H, everything worked when I got it, but recently the belt(s) gave so gotta crack it open and replace them. Also going to repaint/label this one.
Realistic Modulaire 1000, my first boombox. The one that started it all 😂. Needs the belts replaced, but otherwise great condition. I did spray the grills black though.
Realistic SCR-8, wanted this one before I even started collecting. Couldn't get my hands on one for like three years, until last summer. Needs cassette player worked on (shocking, apparently), and the metal plate glued back on. I sprayed the grills black and I intend on customizing this one too, as well as getting/restoring one to original silver. This, and my Hitachi are my two favorites. ðŸ˜
Beat-Box Model 1980-s. A "pop culture" art project senior year 😂. Got many looks, compliments, and pictures with random people walkin this too and from art class every day 😂. I'm bored lately so I'm most likely gonna make a 2.0 of this one ðŸ˜
Additional pic of the art project I would've been a lot note detailed (had plans for a working cassette door and turnable knobs, as well as a foldable handle but had to kinda rush to finish... Late. The art teacher loved it so much she gave me an A+ despite being a week late though 😂
