Yeah my son will be participating in his schools talent show tonight. He will be Breakdancing with a group of 4 and my JVC RC M70C will be on stage with him Blasting Planet Rock.My son is only 11 just turned on tuesday.I turned him on to the 80's music when he was barely 5 and he hasn't looked back loves Planet Rock,Looking for the perfect beat,Play at your own Risk,Numbers, among other 80's tunes. Many of which I got from FatDog in 3 DVD'S.I love the fact that he loves 80"s music and is always dancing round the house,he even has a huge cardboard which I store under his mattress and he breaks it out when he wants to break.OH Boy!!!I have my hands full..Pics of him on monday and last summer with m70. Pics from talent show will follow starts at 5:30.

That's one lucky boy! I've always wanted to learn to breakdance (and with an M70 !!!),but of course now I'm too old.I think we need breakdancing as entertainment at our meetings we put together every year.As integral as this is to the history of the boombox, this has to happen sooner or later.Your son could be our first!

Went well fotos suck though/The auditorium was not well lit and quite dingy as it is an older school. My son even managed to impress me and I went thru the whole eighties experience as a teen and early twenty.Saw many a breakdance throwdown in my days these kids can dance with the best.I will post some pics but they aren't very good as they are grainy and glow eyed but you'll get the idea.I tried a digi camera video but it sucks as it is very dark and I don't have a very steady hand
Ps my son is the head spinner he managed a ful 3 spins.

They look so cool
Breakdancing is amongst the most dynamic forms of talent to select ! I'll bet they brought the house down! Try lightening up the pictures in photoshop. The pictures look pretty good actually. In low light your going to get some grain I suppose. I've seen much worse quality photos from back in the day that were still entertaining. You caught some great moments! :afro:

I think it's cool that I contributed - even just a very small amount with the music - to your son's love of the '80s. :afro: I bet you are one proud dad too. Thanks for posting the pics too. Tell him, Fatdog said, "Woof!"

JT they brought the house down in the video you can here the people screaming .The UHH OHHHs errupted with the headspin and floor spins and they added in some flips which I didn't catch as I switched from foto to video, since I was shooting the video in as close to pitch black as can get I had to switch back to camera and missed quite alot.. Will ask some of the teachers and parents for pics. This caused most of my bad shots as there flashes affected my pics so I know someone has better pics out there.

Hello guys and thanks for the very nice comments I actually had Him read through them and He gathers he has more than just proud parents but proud Boombox family too. :thankyou:
I tracked down a parent that has a full lenghth video and is going to let me download to my computer.

Hola Adam how's the family mi hermano? I was much too shy when I was younger .So I admire my son for having the nerves of steel to do this performance.I am indeed very proud.

It has been a pleasure sharing it with my Boombox brotherhood. :stereo:
