My Sharp GF-800Z!

Hi everyone-Here's my Sharp GF-800Z that I got a while ago for $35.00!!

It was quite dirty and the decks didn't work.
It had been a smoke fire as there was a layer of black suit covering everything.

It cleaned up nice and after some cleaning and lubing of the cassettes and some de-oxit it sounds great!!
Just not so great on ac!

On batteries it very loud with literally no distortion.
I'm guessing the ac transformer is weak,just haven't done any real testing on that yet.

This is obviously the black version.
I re-did the speaker coverings with white felt.

I still have to do some more restoration on this but it all works
except the am so it's an Ok boomer formoutdoor excursions
which i already did over Thanksgiving!

BTW-the small sticker you see on the right side is the original
price sticker!!! It say $439.95!
I thought that was kind of cool.

I'm thinking I'm going to go all stealth with the black felt speaker
coverings.
