Ok.. this thing looks 100% brand new. It was still sealed in the plastic but in a slightly damaged box. Please see the video and help me figure out why the tape player wont work. This is a really nice box and worth fixing.. I am not a expert but I will attempt to fix it if someone can walk me through it. Take a look

Well crap! it says the file is too big. I will try to describe what it does. When I push play the head come up like normal but it make a loud hum noise like the pause is on or something. Nothing turns or spins and when I push stop the hum winds down and stops after about 3 seconds. Its the same with both decks

Sounds like it needs new caps and belts to me but i Wouldn't know which ones, congrats on a minty box

Needs new belts - One motor does both decks in this (Yuk) Humming maybe deck related but if not then it's bad caps I guess!!

Nice new stereo but poor quality I'm afraid, may sound reasonable when repaired but don't expect too much - wish I could give you better news..............
