Hi,

I recently won a SONY KH-7 MKII on eBay for 131€, I can only have good words for the seller (carboncamel), cause both the packing and the boombox itself are outstanding. This unit is very clean, in perfect working order (except deck, but I only use line in or radio), is heavy as a tank, 14kg (over 30 lbs), and the sound is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.

   only thing u need now is the matching turntable and cd player

It would be a great collector's trophy, but I only listen to radio and music in HD through Line in (or Phono In with adapter to Line In), which is an advantage cause I don't mind about deck function in any boombox (although is clear that complete working order means more collector value for others).

External sound card, XLR wires (to cover 8 meter distance) and RCA adapters lets me play music directly from my PC.

:w00t:  :w00t: very nice system ..... i have only SONY CFS-9900 from APM series :beer2:

It's very similar and sure it sounds similar too. I have read around here that the FH-207 sounds even better :w00t: . It's difficult to imagine, but I wouldn't mind to check it for myself

Any member that own both FH-7 and FH-207?

...I do... :-D . The FH-7 is a powerhouse with wonderful 2-way sound. The FH-207 is a powerhouse with amazing 3-way sound. The 207 is the best portable I have ever heard. The soundstage is magnificent. The highs are crisp, the bass is floor shaking, and it has no distinguishable distortion even at full volume! The FH-7 is a world beater but the FH-207 is out of this world. Trust me, if you like the FH-7 you will love the FH-207. Here are a couple pics...

Besides the APM Speakers, what are the other difference between regular FH-7 and MKII ?
