My new Crown 950

I got this nice almost mint Crown 950 from eBay the other day and my ride and I drove about 2 hours to Eau Claire to meet with the seller and pick it up. The seller was very nice and told me he got the box from a estate sale of the original owner of the Crown whom passed away. It is fully working and sounds and works like new. The only thing wrong was one of the antennas were broken but I had an exact white tipped replacement.

Thanks guys! I've had a couple of these before.
One was a beater box and the other was a black painted beauty.
But I always liked this box and wanted a nice original gold colored one.
So this one fit the bill,and I got to try it out before purchasing and the seller gave me a Oingo Boingo cassette too.

I think that was a popular selling box in the Midwest.. I got one in St. Paul a couple years ago off Craigslist, and there was another one on there recently missing the tape door.. I think BBBill got one local too..?
