well as you guys no im a big sanyo fan and i have been having a good run with them lately .so today i found my sanyo mini grail in very mint condition im so happy i could cry :sad: :-D :drool: :thumbsup: and another two a qt-38 my first 3 piece qt . and a very cool mint pye .so all and all a most excellent day :thumbsup:

When you say "faked" you are refering to a passive radiators are you not.

Passive radiators are great and when implemented properly can provide a much better low frequency response, probably better than chucking in another dynamic driver. The problem is a passive radiator should be a larger diameter than the dynamic driver, which in most boxes it isn't.

A good example of a well implemented passive is the Aiwa 880/88 (boomer) or many of the speakers from Definitive Technology (Home cinema). I love my Energy's (two way with passive radiator) they produce more bass than most of the modern speakers I used to sell.

My point is, just because you don't see a motor (voice coil & magnet) don't discount it so quickly.

They are passive radiators.
But i was a bit disappointed when i opened it, i expected 4 real speakers.

And much better than some chinese crap boxes with "really fakes" ;-)
