Cool, nice to see another autocrosser!
What scca region are you in?
What tires do you run?

I'd like to get back in a stock class soon.

It was in street modified class last year
I ran Kumho ecstas 225 55 17s for extra grip and eibach+JDM suspension and struts etc. and braided stainless steel brake lines-no expense was spared on my car

here is a quick mod list

Underdrive crank pulley; 'mild' head work; p&p LIM, plenum, intake arm; balanced injectors; DHP 1.0 PCM; short-ram fenderwell/CAI; MAF mod; manual fan control and uber-cool t-stat;

Brake, Suspension and Wheel Modifications- Cutlass STB; Motegi TrakLiteII 17x8 with Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R in 245/45/17; Hawk HP+ brake pads; Goodridge braided brake lines-also 17x8 Enkei wheels with Kumho Ecstas 225-55-17s

Very cool TRC nice looking MC!

I run my 93' Crown Victoria on Kumho KR21's 225/70/15, I had Goodyear Integrity but they were really bad tires so I did some reseach and heard from my sources good feedback of the Kumho tires.

I decided to purchase the KR21's and now my baby rides smooth and quiet I haven't had the chance to run them through rain yet.

The Integrity didn't handle well through rain there were times where my car would fish tail really scary at times.

I actually have decided my next purchase would be the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum this time on 16" rims maybe American Racing Torq-Thrust II wheels.

Maybe 235/60/16 to give it that wide tread muscle look.

Would love to paint my baby oil slick black but my budget is tight.

I would DEFINITELY go with the Kumhos. I ran mine after 75K miles in the snow and Ice last year during the blizzard and the traction light only came on once  those tires grip I tell you :surf:

I painted my truck with PPG paint for $300 in my room  Turned out great after a bunch of wetsanding and buffing :-)

Does your car do double duty at events? You got a lady driver? By theSTX( L) designation or am I just crazy?
I used to run twice sometimes registered under a friends name, just to get more seat time!
Also whats JDM suspension for a monte?
Theres nothing JDM (japanese domestic market) about montes! :-P Brand maybe, I'm not exactly with "it" any more........ :-)
If you really want to be competitve get some R- comp rubber. Falken Azenis sports or the ol standard Kuhmo Victoracers
Falkens are the best bang for the buck. They were sticky as hell, still legal to cruise the street on. Keep a water bottle handy though to cool them down between runs, they perform best cold.

Yeah, the original owner ran with his wife and the stickers came with the car :-D I wear a wig to get more seat time and I have a scarecrow in the passenger seat  I can usually find a gal to ride with me ;-)

Thinking about a friends car with JDM suspension
JDM :bang:
