You didn't happen to buy it from a California seller did you?
I hope I'm not being stupid here, I'm trying to remember who I sold mine to, I sold it with the manual and power supply.

Hmm, I don't remember the seller,but mine has the original power supply and manual,so maybe it is your old boombox.

I was thinking of selling/trading a couple of my mint and boxed mini's.. but now you're making me think I should buy more!!

That makes me happy to know you have it. That Hitachi was one of only several boxes I picked up as a result of a Boombox Wanted add I placed many times in Craigslist. It's in great shape but the manual and original power supply make it super sweet. I've second guessed myself a few times on the decision to get rid of it but knowing you have it makes me feel much better.

Cool, the little Hitachi is in good hands. I disassembled the whole thing a few moths back and cleaned/detailed it and fixed the intermittent play/no play problem with the cassette deck. I also put on new belts,and it plays like new now.
