Today I went to the house of my friend Carlos, (audio technician).
I carry my m 70 and we analyze it, here some pics of the process and the data obtained, all tets are done whit bass and trieble at 0 and without loudness levels

Your FFT is impressive. Fast Fourier Transform, right? :-)

Your taking a 1.5khz tone and putting it through the M-70. Then your analyzing the results across an average frequency spectrum (20 - 20,000 hz.)

Digital signal processing. Spectrum analysis, for short.

What's with the crosswave? :-) :huh:

I'm guessing that is a graphic representation of the woofer & tweeter's interaction with each other... on a three way speaker system you'd have a midrange in there to cover that little notch...

I think a normal test benchmark for measuring loudspeakers is how many db they can put out at 1 watt measured from 1 meter of distance... right? If that is what you were doing, then it looks like the M70 is good for a value in the high 50db range??? Someone please correct me if I'm off base...

As attempts to analyze the frequency response of M-70.
It sends the same reference signal (pink noise, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_noise) to the pc, and the m 70.
the microphone to one meter, centered between the speakers, The microphone picks up, the interaction of the channels;
this signal reaches the analysis program, the program displays the difference between the generated signal (pink noise) and what the microphone is picking up.
