Listening to Tears for Fears Seeds of Love album while taking pics, sounds fabulous (Maxell UDII chrome tape, very good recording )
Here are the "stairs" pictures, this boombox is in immaculate condition really, sorry not the best quality pics, taken with my phone, enjoy ! :
(funny that with the flash on, it kinda looks like a gold gx ! )

Now that's a clean looking box - very nice!

I respect someone who goes to the trouble and cost of getting a box fully sorted - not just cleaning switches and doing belts but a proper service including adjustments, lubrication etc - it makes a world of difference and is the only real way to get that 'out of the box' performance!

I can't recommend him. Sold me an M70JW once, fully working. When it arrived both bass and treble sliders were broken beyond repair. Hope you used PayPal Lee, I sadly didn't.

He hypes a new box on the forums and sells it a week later on eBay.

I think he was using an other eBay account at that time. But it was this box.

Yes someone cleaned the front plate to much. It's all shiny. It has become my beater M70. Finding new sliders has been a pain!
