Congratulations on the find! Yes, same deck as the M90. And, like RBJ said, "Tons of clean power." I loved my Silver JVC PC-55 but, I REALLY love the Black version.

these are superb machines.very hifi,but enough about it to still class it as a portable,mine i had was a silver one,and the sound was badass.teriffic find,even at $220 canadian

I have it in at the technician now for belts I gave it to him a week ago talk to him today he said A week or two more what can I do long as he does the right job

Hopefully NOT THAT! Some techs do take a bit of time. Theres a great vintage audio repair guy in San Diego with a 6 month turnaround time. Hes really good from the reviews on the internet, but man thats a long time. The tech I finally found by word of mouth here in L.A. is awesome. Great at keeping me updated and he does really great work. Hang in there man.

DD on play mode and belt driven rew/ff. I think this has dual motors like the M90 as well 🤔

I am getting a grinding or vibration type sound from in side the deck it come than goes only does it in play back ff and rw not there
I wonder if it is I baring
Anyone have any input

Could be rubbing against the backing plate there's a plastic bearing right behind the flywheel if it's not properly aligned and tightened down it'll rub
