My Featured Boombox Of The Week- (Aiwa CSD-ES60!)

Hi everyone-Here is some cool photos of my Aiwa CSD-ES60.
This thing is pretty cool because it has these speakers on the top that sound kind of cool when you hit the surround button.
I like it because the sound is pretty clear and it has the original sticker on it.
The only downfall is that it doesn't go as loud as I'd like but it is clear.
I actually got it at Goodwill fro 9.99 about a year ago.
One of my better finds!
I do wish I had the remote control for this one-anyone know where to find one for this??
I hope you enjoy the photos-some are outside & I think that makes for some better lighting!

i've seen a few of those types with the top mounted surround speakers.There's an Emerson like this at a client location which has always peaked my interest. Aiwa always produced a nice box,but no more.

Hi Fatdog-It actually sounds pretty good when you hit the surround button.
The top speakers give it kind of a Expanded or a wide sound.
But it actually comes from the top so it kind of fills the room.
It's a good little boombox but the only drawback is it's lacking power for real loudness.
It will get kind of loud but not blasting loud if you know what I mean.
BTW-Nicole it's 1996'!

I have a late model Aiwa 3-piece that has something called "Q sound".This sounds very spacey and does a good job of making it a joy to listen to.It has single full range drivers unlike your find.Aiwa it seems tried extra hard to one up the competition with better sound in a given year/model category.
