I startet to collect Boxes last year with this little Sharp GF-6060. Nothing Special, but I like the colour:

This GF-8585 has a nice Sound an it´s near mint (except a missing Antenna):

I paid 10,50€ for it. From Ebay. :afro:

I love this one. A Crown CSC-850:

My first Universum Super Sound 16000. I bought later a another one to build a really good one.

I wanted a GF-9191 and I got one:

Its a Beater, but I managed some issues. Now I like it. I got it for 27,50 from Evilbay.
Now with a little bit different look :sin: :

A GF-8686, I bought to compare with my GF-8585 (9,99€, you now already, Ebay :-D ). I prefer the 8585. But still, both nice looking Boxes:

Here with it´s older Brother:

My second Super Sound 16000. Did I mention their awesome Sound (poor mans M70, maybe?)

I´m still building a good one (and a less good one ;-) ), out of these:

This arrived last week. It´s beat up, but working (except Deck 1). I wanted one of those big Sharps, since I started collecting. Now I got one. 128,50€ from the Bay (the cheapest one, I´ve ever seen on german Ebay  ):

btw: I´m looking for a Tapeddor for my 767 with springs. Don´t need to be from a 767. Any door that fits is fine (777, 999, 909, 919 or 1000 for example).

Man I'm diggin that CSC-850!!!
Poor 767  :'-( It's one of my personal favs. Mine is 100% fully working but I had to replace the mids cuz they where in bad condition. Just got rid of a door too. Sorry.
I was just given (FREEBIE!!) an 8989 but that thing is in need of some help. It's missing some parts. If I can't find them I'll be selling off parts from it.
Nice start tho. Good luck with your collection.

Oh no, the price was for the 8585. The Crown was bought for around 36€. I wanted a another one, but they are going on Ebay for 100-150 or more atm.

Oh we got a St.Pauli fan here. You from Hamburg?
Nice choices to start a collection. I hope you can fix your Sharp.

Nice user name, too.
I love the movie and Jungle Julia is hot!
:-D

Not Hamburg, I live in Passau, deep in the South. I´m not too much into Football, but yeah, I like St. Pauli.

I dig most of the Tarantino movies. They´re so unusual ;-) .

Time for an update.
My first National-Panasonic, a RS-4300LJS, near mint. It has good features and it´s f....ing heavy for it´s size.

Next one is a well known Sharp GF-8989. I´m a bit disapointed. Sound is ok, but no loudness switch and no useable Line In?
But still a good Looker.
ghettoblaster109.jpg

So I bought a second GF-8585. Mucho better :-P. It still took some time, to get a cheap one.

Next one was a GF-555. But I have no pix atm. It´s by a radio mechanic. If he does a good job, he will get some other boxes for repairing.

The last is my favorite of the new boxes. A Gold Star TSR-800. It´s a lot bigger then I expected.
