Well here she is my newest edition and just in time for Christmas  The Sharp GF777E. This thing is awesome and thanks to Nick (ClaretBadger) for the trade  I truly love the looks and sound way better than my GF767. All functions are fully working including Recording and APLD... I will eventually give it a total breakdown and clean entire inside and decks, rebelt and demagnetized heads.

This is one of those must have Grails that I've wanted since I started collecting and I'm sure glad I have it in my collection :-) the sound is just so awesome!!! Can't wait to get some Fatdog Labels and show this baby off  I'm even hoping to get some custom labels from Bobby too :-). Well hope you enjoy pics. Sorry about crappy lighting the pics always come out nicer in daylight... I will post more once I get labels on her!!!!

Congrats Bill!

I enjoy mine in like new condition. It got some real bass. Cosmetics on GF777 is flawless. So hard to keep eyes away from this unit. I've never went over 1/2 of the volume on it with those "under the grill speaker bass controls" at 1/2 position. I got beautiful labels from Bobby.

Always leave some clearance between the tuner knob. If not, it will go and rub on the face and make scratches. I put a transparent thin plastic adhesive back up bumper in between to avoid that happening. I also put thin felt pads and put them in between the small knobs and the face of teh unit. The screws section at Menards have those tiny felt pads.

Thanks Royce ;-). I do love looks and sound better than my 767 but my 767 was mint too. This one has some usage but still looks awesome and sounds great. Thanks for tips too

Congrats! Awesome Christmas present  Think I'll have to start saving as I'd really like a 777 but don't generally spend much on my boxes. I trust you're going to wrap it up and put it under the Christmas tree now

Thanks guys ;-). I decided to paint speakers because they looked so faded. I think they came out pretty cool
