Thanks, EVERYONE!

I did a little looking around on the board about this unit and it looks like a pretty good catch. :-)

It is great to be back. I'll get a pic of my collection in the next week or so.

Hopefully I can get to a meet some time.

I wanna see a picture of the new one with the M70 to get a size comparison.

Plan next year for the Nor Cal Meet with us! It was a BLAST!

I wish they would mate and give me an M90. :-P

The last one I picked up on Craigslist a few months back and the guy said there was something wrong with it. I got it home and it's been fine so far. I have the original manual and receipt for it, too. :)

He bought it in 1981 for $479.00, I think (the paperwork is at the babysitter's house.)

Too bad he didn't have the strap.

Did the straps come with it or was that an accessory ?

The strap is one of the BLUFUZ replica straps!

The boombox I just bought did not come with a strap.

I meant say when M70 was new did strap come with it or was it extra? Like Kaboom comes with strap but of course there's no handle. Of course I wonder since there was no handle on Crown CSC850 if that one came with strap!!!

Yeah, the strap came with the M70s. I saw just a vintage strap once sell on ebay for $100. I actually bought one of my M70s with a real vintage strap. I bought the box mainly for that. They're tough to find, though.

I also have to say, that I love the fact that your Blaster Display is IN the living room....Friggen' Furniture Man! AWESOME ! :w00t:

Yeah, I may be the only member here that has a female nearby that has the collection in the LIVING ROOM! I debated whether or not I wanted a TV in there. HE HE!

And about the discolite: I'll get a decent group shot this weekend and start a new thread. This boomer is larger than Princess by just a tiny bit.
