Hey blaster junkies! Just got another Toshiba Monolith. This time, it's RT-S98(Japan Ver.) Mackenzie. It has a couple of differences from the North American WX-1(RT-S983). Most notably is the different Radio coverage including a 76-108Mhz FM Stereo dial for world coverage vs. the traditional 4 band radio with the 88-108Mhz FM range. I have both & swapped out pieces, parts etc. & came up with the MACK-en-stein. It is FULLY working, including 2 very good working & sounding tape decks. Tape speed & head alignment(azimuth) are spot on to my ears when I compare to the digital source, for both decks.
