nice score skippy.....i also have one of these and think it may sound a little better than the 880,it handles more volume than the 880 without distortion!
im now after the mk2 as i like the blue behind the grills like the 880

Yes I like the look of the mk1 a bit more than the mk2.
But I do like the blue behind the grills.
I owned one a few years ago and it got traded to a member here for my Marantz CRS-8000.
