my Aiwa AD-F990 or this JVC DD-V9??

My AD-F990 is in the shop being repaired after an accident when I was showing it to Bobby after the 2009 Sunshine Meet, I bought this top of the line (at the time) cassette deck brand new , all my good tapes were made on this deck. Pic below (not of my actual deck):

i got this JVC model DD-V9 from a co-worker, link below to pics and info:

would the JVC be considered a better deck? Should I concentrate on the JVC or stick with the Aiwa? I'm having the Aiwa fixed regardless just wanted some opinions.

If i decided to get rid of the JVC, would it be worth anything to anyone??

Keep both and try them. Then decide. I'm sure someone, should youchose to sell the JVC, would jump. :-)

I was using the JVC before I bought the Tascam but have to hook it back up to check it to make sure everything still works since I haven;t used in in a while

i like both ,if you decide to get rid of the jvc maybe we can trade for something ?, i have a lot of cool crap lol lots of house stereo i never use, nothing junky or cheap .

DD-V9 is a good sounding deck, although love the look of tjhe F990. I think the V9 may have been a little better finished.
