How many different versions of the GF-9000 did Sharp make? Obviously, there are at least two versions. In the picture below, one has a red, purple, and blue meters with a clear cassette door. The other has pale yellow, purple, and blue meters with a "smoked" cassette door.

kinda looks like only one version bottom just looks very worn compared to the minter one on top thats my feeling to that model only thing that would have changed would be jap version lettering vs us version and some cosmetics missing features also :-) :-) :-)

I have a question. If the bottom 9000 meters are faded, then why is the red coloring for power still bright red :hmmm: anyone?

Because the plastic in front of VU's is playing the magnifying glass role here  .
Viva the rare yellow meters  I can mod a lot of needle VU's here. The whole summer was 40 celsius and my sun charged watches and other sun powered gadgets are on full power  .
Im telling you all - the best way is to collect just LEDboomers

This post just made me feel retro :w00t:, so I've got my old avatar back!

My GF-9000 is in excellent condition, and not faded in any way. The meter colour on mine is yellow. Mine's a GF-9000E.

An old pic...
