Having seen most of these, though, I would watch Ira's list in a heartbeat.

#2....huh. I would have never thought Shawshank Redemption was "cheesy". Of course, I have never actually seen it, but isn't it like a serious story about bad things happening in jail in the olden days?

Yeah I might be a bit off with that one, but I don't really watch really cheesy films, so this was the best I could do. It is a serious story, but fairly light-hearted and positive. Sure, people die, but I think the whole mood isn't death and pain but more like hope and friendship. Yeah man, that's as cheesy as a whole suitcase full of AsDa mature Cheddar. But it's a magnificent film so it's all good.
