I will have to do some serious thinking here. I watch a lot of the same movies over and over. And by the FD definition, I only watch cheesy chick flick movies.

My minds gone blank! Got sky movies and a DVD and film streaming subscription but can't think of any movies. Oh apart from musicals...I'll admit to that one...I agree with Ira :) Blues Brothers is probably my favourite film ever, it's certainly the one I've seen most times :)

Will have a think about the others :)

1. Classic - Gone with the Wind
2. Cheesy - This is a toughy, I like lots of bad movies, most of which are cheesy. If it was made in the 80's, I love it. Beyond that, probably The Fifth Element. Oh wait, maybe American Ninja
3. Action / adventure - Top Gun Beside that, I'd say the whole The Mummy series. Wait, would Tombstone count?
4. Comedy - Office Space, National Lampoon's Vacation, Eupropean Vacation, Christmas Vacation.
5. Chick Flick - Princess Bride
6. Horror - As I've gotten older, I don't really like horror flicks - I don't like being scared. But the 1st three Friday the 13th series or the first two Nightmare on Elm Street
7. Animated or Family - I love every Disney and Pixar movie ever* can't call this one. *Except Dumbo. Saddest most pitiful story EVER. Momma elephant singing "Baby of Mine" next door, BUCKETS of tears BUCKETS! From the Family side, every Harry Potter movie. No, wait, Goonies
8. Sci-Fi - Enemy Mine

9. Musical - Grease or Grease 2
10. Mystery / Thriller - Silence of the Lambs

Not sure where The Color Purple falls, but I love that movie

I know I have forgotten many and I reserve the right to change my favorite at any point.

I can and will stop and watch most of these movies anytime, anywhere. The FD often makes fun of me. If it's a rainy Sunday, chances are I'm glued to TBS or ABC Family watching movies I've seen 100 times.

That would be my comedy pick if I hadn't gone for Hot Fuzz! Ketchup flicks, gotta love 'em.
Agreed. I tend to prefer slasher movies over true horror. Plus, like I said....I am known for liking bad cheesy movies.
