Picked up one of those cuties a few years ago. Super-stylish. Reminds me of a small Kaboom... or a flashlight.

Today one more rare MOVING SOUND came in.
But not really a beautiful one.
Found this smashed ROLLER2 doubledecker under some trash:
Speaker grills deformed and cuts all around
Anybody must have thrown it around.
Aerial is missing, very rampaged unit
bad crack on one speaker.
Hope i can glue it
The wonder is, it is fully working!
But need very much work to get back good looking
And for 2euro, still ok.
But not really a beautiful one.

Sometimes it's nice just to FIND a particular model, regardless of its condition, especially if you're trying to build a collection. Now you can relax and wait for a better one to come along...but not worry if it doesn't. At least you have one. Besides, even beaters look good in group photos!

Yikes, that's cool! And unique, too. Sure wish Philips had marketed more of its stuff in the USA. Even under the Magnavox name, Philips didn't offer much here.

Here we go with the CD player.
Ok, no really "Moving Sound", because a home unit.
But the style is !
Pulled this poor one out under some trash.
Expected it will be not working (water cames out of it) :annoyed:
But it´s working!
It also eats selfburned CDs.
Now working as upgrade to my "homestereo" PHILIPS.
