Just got back from a long weekend away with the family. We booked a chalet at the Bunya Mountains, Qld and it was fantastic!
This time of year it's real hot in Brisbane so a nice cool weekend away in the mountains was a welcome break from the heat.
Perfect weather, cool temps and an open fire..... perfect! We had the local wildlife at our doorstep with birds feeding from your hand.
The rental mob said that the use of a boombox was included in the price. So do I bring a boombox with me? - Of course! I chose the RX-5150 and it didn't disappoint. Here is the 'house' box with his new 'old school' friend:
Sharp really dropped the ball on this one.
I could barely pick up an AM or FM station on the mountain. The Panny of course sounded loud and clear on both bands.

The wife is no boombox fan but she does love music so she enjoys boomboxes just fine particularly when we're winding down on holidays.
