Just got home from picking up my score from ebay that had quite afew aussies interested, glad to be home as its hot as hell outside!
The bloke i got them from was a decent guy, my guess to be late 50's, had 8 boxes sitting in his shed he needed to offload, 3 caught my eye so i knew i had to have them. had a quick look over and tested a couple quickly, im just talking about the big 3 that i was more interested in
first up, the M70 works perfectly, powered on, radio works, tape works, all the sliders/buttons are present and work, dial light/VU meters work, and its not in bad shape just needs a good clean up. only bits missing from it is the battery cover and the antennas are stuffed. im just excited to finally have one, its an M70W.
next, the Crown 850, this one is an 850F. i didn't realise how light these things where, im guessing having no handle must save weight? ive been hunting for one of these since i started collecting boxes, wrapped to have one and apart from it being dusty and dirty as sin, it works very well. only things that don't work are the right VU meter and the tape doesn't work, you can hear the motor working but no action, im guessing belts? this one just needs a Tweeter grille and 1 antenna to be complete.
next, the Crown 950, this one has Alfie's name all over it, like the 850 is in good nick is just dirrtyyyy and like the 850 has 1 busted antenna end. the tape works on this one, so does the radio, LED VU's both work, this one could look as mint as my 950 once it is cleaned up. Alfie if you still want it message me.

Some interesting looking ones in the rest of the pile as well 
. So now you have lot for workin on, but all worthy. Not sure how many 850 ive seen with this cool colored "crown" letters. Love it.
